Check Out The Mushroom Effect Of MY Speer Gold Dot .45 Ammo!!!!
 

I went and shot my Glock 30 SF the other day and I was shooting my carry ammo which is Speer Gold Dot HP .45 230 grain. Anyway it was rainy and cold out so I shot one in the mud about 3 feet in front of me. It only went in about 2 inches. Ground is hard as hell mind you and it was the first rain in a long time (Bellville, TX). I dug it out by hand and shot 2 more but I couldnt get them out by hand. Fingers half numb and whatnot. About 39 and rainy. But anyway it mushroomed BEAUTIFULLY. I recommend these! Pics!

Yeah the other 2 I could tell were mushroomed just the same but I didnt have a knife to get them out of the mud. I need to get a brisket and shoot it up and see what they do...

I would if I were you. I use Corbon in my 17 and the Speer in my Glock 30SF. It eats 'em real well so no worries there.

This is where I got the Speer, but I got mine in the 50 round boxes. I see them in 20 rounds only now, they have Corbon as well and to tell the truth I cant remember why I went with Speer in .45 and Corbon in 9mm and .357. I got the 230 grain. Anyway heres the link:

I had it shipped, I researched it when I was in Iraq and bought it all online and had it shipped to my place in Houston. If you are a resident of TX like me you have to pay taxes but hell, still cheap to me. ammo2go did have the 50 round boxes in the Speer but that was back in 07 or so. But the prices are still goof after all its defense ammo. Run a hundred or so to make sure your piece likes it and save the rest. I wish I could get my hands on the Winchester white box range ammo from WalMart still. You cant beat that stuff IMO.
